It starts with the believing. Rooted Liberation’s Community Partnership services are grounded in the belief that educators serve gifted families and communities. When we believe in these gifts, we can more readily partner with families, community members, and community organizations, targeting transformative opportunities for impact inside and outside school and organization walls.

Asset mapping grounds educators and organization leaders in the strengths of the communities they serve. Whether you are identifying the talents, skills, and resources of the families you serve or of the individuals, organizations, and businesses in the community you serve, the process of asset mapping sets the foundation for respectful and transformative partnerships.

  • Leadership Training (The What & Why of Asset Mapping), Leadership Coaching (i.e. Developing Plan for Asset Mapping, Overcoming Asset Mapping Challenges, Developing Vision for Leveraging and Supporting Assets), Data Collection Support

  • Co-Design and/or Co-Facilitate Staff Training (The What, Why, and How of Asset Mapping), Data Collection Support

FAMILY PARTNERSHIP

Family partnership goes beyond family engagement to cultivate a reciprocal relationship between schools/organizations and families with the ultimate aims of supporting the wellness and growth of their students and communities.
